Desa Amal Jireh is a home, registered with the Selangor Welfare Department and the Registrar of Societies, for underprivileged children and old folk which was founded by Reverend and Mrs. K. K. Sinnadurai. Desa Amal Jireh started off as Rumah Faith in February 1985 to provide a caring and loving shelter for children who are poor, orphaned, abandoned or neglected by their parents. In 1992 a home for the old folk called Faith Eagle's Nest was founded. Located at Sungai Chua, Selangor, these homes currently cater for around 85 children aged from one to eighteen and 8 elderly people. Over the years close to 200 children have graduated from the home and integrated well into society.
