| 1989 | Moved back to Sungai Chua area and rented three bungalow houses in Taman Kajang Baru. We continued staying here and started growing by renting more houses. Today we are renting 14 buildings. |

| 1998 | Our girl, Jennifer Chai graduates with a Diploma of Nursing from
the Assunta College of Nursing The Matsushita Electric Industrial Workers Union selected Desa Amal Jireh as the country’s MOST OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER ORGAZATION for their 8th MEU International Volunteer Prize Selection with a cash award of US$ 20,000.00. The Chairman and his wife were invited to Japan o receive the Award. |
| 2002 | Launched our Thriff Shop, “Bazaar Amal Jireh” or “Jireh Charity
Bazaar”. Started our Home Schooling Center for children who could not go to normal school for various reasons. Today we have 20 full-time children studying in our Home School based on the American Home Schooling concept. |
| 2003 | Ground Breaking Ceremony of Desa Amal Jireh by Datuk Dr.Zainal
Abidin Ahmad, Timbalan Menteri Besar, Selangor. Mrs. Kamalan Sinnadurai was chosen by Abbot Laboratories (M) Sdn. Bhd. To receive the “ DERMAL ANGEL AWARD 2003” for voluntary service and received an amount of RM 10,000/= for the home. Our boy, Jeevan Kumaran was selected to represent Malaysia for the “Saitama International Junior Soccer U-12 Championship” in Japan. Eagles Nest Computer and Community Centre was started. Appointed by DAGS/MIMOS to bridge the digital divide among the senior citizens. |
